Objectif du projet
Rénover les chemins autour de Ta Phin et Thanh Kim, empruntés chaque jour notamment par les enfants et les villageois pour aller à l’école ou aux rizières ou aller travailler en ville en moto.

Contexte
Ta-Phin est un village composé de hameaux situé au nord de Sapa, dans la province de Lao Caï.
300 familles y vivent (environ 2000 personnes). Les infrastructures sont rares et les hameaux ne sont joignables que via des chemins très endommagés par les conditions climatiques (chaud et humide l’été ; froid et humide l’hiver) et EPVN depuis 10 ans a construit 12 kilomètres de chemins en béton dans ce village. Il ne reste à construire que 700 mètres en haut du village (projet 2024)
Thanh Kim est un village Hmong noir et Dao rouge dans la même province. 3 kilomètres de chemin en béton ont déjà été construits par des jeunes EPVN. L’été 2023 ce sont 5 nouveaux kilomètres de chemins en béton qui seront construits. Ce chemin permettra à 4000 personnes de 4 villages concernés de se déplacer beaucoup plus rapidement.

– 12 km construits à Taphin depuis 2014
– 3 kms construits à Thanh Kim en 2019 et 2022
– été 2023 : 10 jeunes partiront en Séjour Solidaire pour poursuivre la construction des chemins avec les villageois .

Renovation of paths around Ta Phin and Thanh Kim
Objectives of project
Renovate the paths around Ta Phin and Thanh Kim used every day, especially by the children, to go to school and by the villagers to go to the rice fields or TO go to work in town by motorbike.

Families from the villages of Ta Phin and Thanh Kim
Context
Ta-Phin is a village made up of hamlets located north of Sapa, in the province of Lao Caï. 300 families live there (about 2000 people). There are few infrastructures, and the hamlets can only be reached via paths which have been extensively damaged by the climatic conditions (hot and wet in the summer; cold and wet in the winter). In the last ten years, EPVN has built 12 kilometres of concrete paths in this village. Only 700 meters remain to be built in the upper par tof the village (project for 2024).
Thanh Kim is a Black Hmong and Red Dao village in the same province. 3 kilometres of concrete path have already been built by young EPVN volunteers. In the summer of 2023, 5 more kilometres of concrete paths will be built. This path will allow 4000 people from the 4 villages concerned to travel much more quickly.

- Summer 2023: 10 students will take part in a solidarity programme to continue building the paths with the villagers.
